Bush: dense vegetation consisting of plants and thorny shrubs, characterizing the semi-arid South of Madagascar or elsewhere.
Endemic: species specific to a geographical area and found nowhere else in the world. It can be said that Madagascar has a rate of endemism of around 80 or even 90%, one of the highest on the planet.
